I’m Christina Landeros, LCSW-S, a Texas-approved clinical supervisor with more than 17 years of experience in mental health, medical, and clinical social work settings. I provide virtual supervision to Texas LMSWs working toward LCSW licensure.
My approach to supervision is supportive, collaborative, and practical. Supervision provides a space to explore challenging cases, strengthen clinical skills, navigate ethical questions, and develop greater confidence in your work.

Texas LCSW Supervision Requirements
The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council currently requires an LMSW seeking LCSW licensure to complete:
At least 3,000 hours of supervised professional clinical experience
A minimum of 24 full months of supervised experience
At least 100 hours of supervisory sessions
Supervision under a qualified Texas LCSW-S
Additional examination and application requirements established by BHEC
Supervision requirements can change. Each supervisee is responsible for reviewing current BHEC regulations and confirming that their employment and clinical experience meet licensing requirements.

If we agree to work together, we will complete a written supervision plan and agreement before counting supervision hours.
Supervision is provided virtually through a secure video platform. Supervisees must be physically located in Texas while receiving supervision and must maintain an active Texas LMSW license throughout the supervisory relationship.

Supervision Fees
Monthly LMSW Supervision Package: $340
The package includes two supervision meetings per month, two hours each.
Before beginning, we will discuss the meeting format, payment expectations, attendance requirements, documentation, and how supervision hours will be recorded.
Supervision fees are not billable to health insurance.
Important Information
Clinical supervision does not guarantee approval for LCSW licensure or passage of the ASWB Clinical Examination. The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council makes all final determinations regarding acceptable experience, licensing requirements, and approval of an LCSW application.

Supervision should not begin until we have determined that we are a good fit, reviewed your employment situation, completed the required agreements, and established a clinical supervision plan. Whether particular work hours qualify is ultimately determined by BHEC.

Potentially. Outside supervision may be possible depending on your job duties, clinical setting, employer cooperation, access to necessary information, and applicable regulations. We will discuss these circumstances during the consultation.

Supervision can include support with clinical reasoning, test-taking concepts, and developing an examination study plan. It is not a formal ASWB examination-preparation course and cannot guarantee a passing result.

We can discuss your previous experience and records during the consultation. You are responsible for obtaining the required documentation from each supervisor and ensuring that your total experience meets current BHEC requirements.
